The historic value of 836 Oak has been a key factor in its preservation. We have worked with the City of Winston-Salem and other local groups to properly restore the building. The seasoned wood beams, thick masonry walls, and other unique touches could not be replaced if the building were lost to the wrecking ball. Today major improvements are being made to

the building. Once complete, 836 Oak will contain thirty well-appointed condominiums designed to comfortably blend past and present in a sophisticated urban setting. Hardwood floors, granite kitchen countertops, brushed nickel lighting and plumbing fixtures, and stainless steel kitchen appliances are just a few of the no-extra-cost luxury features.
